Faith International University has been equipping students all around the world with a biblical, theological, and practical education since 1969. In the last decade the institution has undergone the growth transformation from beginning as a small seminary to expanding to become a college, and more recently in 2016 becoming a university where they officially changed their name from Faith Seminary and College to Faith International University. As a result of the name change, they experienced a lot of growing pains with their website. The sheer volume of information on their site was causing issues for users to be able to easily navigate to needed pages. In addition to navigation issues, the name change and expansion of the university brought about a new set of challenges on how to best reach a much more diverse target audience than ever before through their online presence. They didn’t want to abandon their roots and legacy of their academic institution, but also didn’t want to isolate or limit the potential to appeal to new prospective students.
