With 3 months on the clock, we first set out to build a strong foundation for the David Tutera (DT) Brand that would scale far beyond these initial projects. We developed brand assets and guidelines to make sure all partners were making consistent choices. And then we built templates for social media and collateral on our Suitespace platform so the DT team could easily access and customize materials. We also onboarded DT to our Marketing Automation Platform so we could begin tracking marketing efforts and compiling data in its CRM. With both of these platforms in place, DT now had a way to create and access marketing materials, gather data, and send out communications digitally. With the foundation set, it was time to design and build websites! Although the ecommerce portion of David’s business would be separate from his main brand, we didn’t want to create the two in silos, but rather have them work cohesively together. To do this, we set a strategy to create one single site with layered navigation on two platforms- WordPress and Shopify. This gave us the easy to use Estore solution that the DT team could manage efficiently in the future AND the functionality of WordPress to build a custom, gorgeous main site for David’s work and brand. David’s show premiered in Feb 2019. Each week, VSG supported the launch of new fashions, unveiled after each deserving couple’s live wedding on their ecommerce platform.
